I had an absolute Hallelujah Chorus break out at the run, this afternoon. They have only learned to crow, this week, still being youngsters. I headed out to see who was crowing, and it was ALL FOUR of my four-month-old Showgirl and silkie roos. One would crow, then another, until they had worked through, and they would start again. Moe was sitting on the top perch (yes, I have a flying Showgirl roo), and he would start, followed by Papa Smurf, another one of the Showgirls, then Wattles, the last of the Showgirls, then Smart Aleck, the silkie. As soon as Smart Aleck was done, Moe would start again.
They ran through this for a few more times, then they all finished with a simultaneous chorus. It was like they were practicing for barbershop quartet! It was hysterical!
I'm going to miss these guys. They're bumping the limit of my being allowed to keep them in the city. But they're fun for now, and I'm enjoying them while I can.
