Hi, about 4 and a half months ago I hatched about 26 eggs, 3 of which were silkies. Up until recently, i have assumed that 2 of them (The brown and White one in pictures) were cockerels and 1 of them (The grey/black one) was a hen. However now they have me utterly confused as to what gender the grey one is as the other morning when i let them out it came out , stretched its neck and let out a strangled crow-ish sound. I have read somewhere that on the odd occasion silkie hens can do this, but still want advice. Please leave your opinions on gender once you have seen the pictures below. 20171023_104321.jpg (Soorry but the pictures have messes up the post)

Curious, how can you tell between male and female? The red/buff?, looks like a roo to me but the white one doesn't. A friend just got some about 3 months old and is hoping none is a roo. She gets all different suggestions on how to tell the difference. Can you help? Thank you
