I recently discovered my SLW has a spur on each wing. I am aware that emus, quail, ducks, peafowl, and other birds have wing spurs; I have read that spurs are common in broiler chickens and that some breeds do not have spurs at all while other breeds may or may not have them.
Are these able to be trimmed, cut, or filed? Will they fall off, and if they do will they grow back? Are they passed along to their offspring? Any information and/or advice is greatly appreciated!
