Mystery black chicks - Black Sex link or Australorp or Jersey Giants? Please help!

Thanks for all your replies!
I hadn’t thought about Sapphire Gems. We also bought two “Sapphire Splash” around the same time (Hoover calls them “rebel renditions of their Sapphire Gems on their site - whatever that means!) and they are much smaller than Rainbow and Unicorn...

They are the white speckled chicks in this pic below:

The cannot be male's and sapphire gems. They are made with a barred rooster which means all male's will have barring as adults. They also have a white dot on male chicks heads

Interesting. Reading up on other Sapphire Gem threads here and it sounds like they do tend to grow pretty fast and hens often have larger combs as well.
I’ll keep digging for more clues.

Quick follow up. These chicks are now 13 weeks old and I’m 99% sure they are roosters. They haven’t started crowing yet (though one of them does make funny noises more like a cat than a cockadoodloo for a few minutes in the mornings). My guess is still that they are Sapphire Gems, as I believe blue Andalusians have white ears? Even if they are roosters, they are awesome birds - super friendly and not aggressive at all towards our little kids.
