Hi chicken friends,
We noticed a few weeks back that a skinny brownish-grey chicken was living all by herself in the forrest behind our house. We called her (her?) Forrest. She was incredibly skittish and would not get close enough to get a good look. After weeks of treats, and our chickens hanging out with her (they free range) she slowly warmed up to us. For about a week now she finally seemed to have moved in with the rest of the flock. She’s even sleeping in the coop with them! Now the big questions: Is Forrest a lady or a rooster? And what breed is she? I’ve never seen a chicken like her These are the best pictures I was able to take, she still won’t let me get very close
Thank you for your help!
