Part #2 of my 'project' is 6 young Buckeye Cockerels. They have pea combs. Part #3 of my project is going to be a selected 5 or 6 of the fifty Dark Cornish cockerels that we are going to begin finishing for the freezer soon.

Yep...a three part project. I will try to get pictures of the DC and Buckeye heads...they certainly have pea combs. The addition of the Dark Cornish is a newly considered aspect. We have the birds and like them as well as the Buckeyes, in some respects.

Yes, it has ridges. Here's a list of comb types. I believe this site has good definitions of each comb type if you can find it. By this site, I mean the Backyard Chickens site.

Beloved by many, especially family and friends and many on this site appreciate his sharp mind and...tongue. The tongue might be just be a bit too sharp on occasion but that's a family trait. I wouldn't change anything about him.

I love Ron. Especially this picture. That says it all. I remember when he took it down and put up a pasture . Such an outcry that he immediately changed it back.
