I thought a good name for a big black rooster would be Loki. Since roosters are charming, handsome, brave, and sometimes a little naughty. What do you think???

Those are great names. I don't have a rooster named Loki, it was just an idea. But I thought it be a good name for a black Australorp or Orphington.

Agreed. In fact, you could go with a entire series of roosters' names based on mythological gods and heroes, such as Thor, Odin, Baldur, Zeus, Apollo, Hermes, Ares, Hercules, Theseus, Perseus, Achilles, etc.
