Hello everyone! I need help identifying my one and only rooster. We have a flock of 40+ ladies and we had 2 chicks naturally born yesterday and was curious if anyone could please help with identifying our rooster and the baby chicks so we have an idea of what cross breeding took place. Thank you!

Am I seeing pink/white skin on that roo's legs? If so, he may be some sort of Marans or Marans mix. The solid tail with the barring makes for a beautiful boy. The dark chick with the head spot will be barred in some form like papa. Chipmunk stripes are actually the most common form of chick down. The fact that 1 will be barred and 1 won't says that the roo only has 1 barred gene, or EVERY chick would have the head spot indicating barring. all that is about the father. What are the assorted hens' breeds? What color were the egg shells?
