New baby

This is our ducks 1st time hatching ducklings, this is the only one to make it and it had a rough start. They stepped on its shell yesterday and smashed it in pretty good. This baby was starting to pop before the smashed it. It bleed a bit and I was able to stop the bleeding and help it half way out of the shell. .y question is should there still be this much blood and inside the shell and is the yolk sac still to big? This is our first time hatching babies as well so it's a new experience for us. Just want to make sure the lil baby is going to make it.

it is frustrating that the duck questions go unanswered. mine too. did this baby make it? that doesn't look like a lot of blood to me, but still being attached to the yolk can be problematical.
