I got 26 chicks in the mail a few days ago and just wanted to share some pictures. I ordered Ameraucanas, Black Australorps, Black Giants, Buff Rocks, Golden-laced Wyandottes, Red Stars, Rhode Island Reds, Turkens, Welsummers, Whiting True Blues, Whiting True Greens. I received two extra chicks, a Mottled Houdan and a White Leghorn. Sadly, the Mottled Houdan passed away this morning due to coccidiosis..Here are my babies

I did the same thing 8 weeks ago. I received the 26 babies I ordered in November. I loved all the cuteness and fluffiness; however, I wasn’t able to give each one all the loving I wanted to give and they each deserved. There were just too many. The most I had gotten before was six chicks, but this time I wanted to increase my flock in a hurry with a bunch of different breeds. Out of the 26 chicks I had 21 different breeds. I have done well with them all, but I’ll just have to get used to the fact some birds won’t be as friendly as I’d like. The thing I really do like though is seeing how the different breeds mature compared to each other.
You really do have some cuties and I wish you all the extra love from the bunches of babies!
