New duckling eating but not drinking

Just got 2 new ducklings today from Metzer. My Welshman harlequin is eating but not drinking. How is that even possible? I’ve been dipping her beak every once in a while when she gets some food in her mouth. I have yet to see her to it herself. She seems otherwise fine.

She may be drinking when you aren't looking. Keep an eye on her though, as you may need to use an eyedropper to give her some water if she becomes dehydrated.

If you use anything like a dropper or syringe make sure it’s tiny drops right inside the bill let her swallow after each drop.
