New from South Central Los Angeles

I have had a few cats venture into the yard. I have 20 or so hens, they are cooped up most of the day, I let them out while I am cleaning the coop once a week. My neighbors have spotted raccoons around the yard. I also have seen hawks perched near my yard. I would have secure coop with a large runner with protection around the base of the coop, to prevent the predators from harming your hens.
