New girls need help with age & breed

We were given 2 hens the lady said they had been laying but stopped she didn't know why & someone had given them to her as adults so don't know their ages. Or breed. Is there a way to tell age? We love them they are very sweet. They already come when I call & follow me. I named them Molly & Milly they have gray legs! Pics below thanx in advance for help.

I was thinking black sexlinks too. Pretty little ladies; not sure how much laying they may do past age 2-3 but I bet with some TLC they might surprise you!

Oh they'll get plenty of tlc! My girls are spoiled rotten all 14 of them! I don't think they even know they're chickens sometimes! Thank you for answering. I'm reading about them now they sound nice!

Their combs are pretty pale, so I don't think they will lay before molting. They are probably headed into molting. Up here (much farther N) mine start in around the end of January.

I think they are older than 3.

Thank you for answering yes I kind of thought they may have stopped laying because of age. They are really sweet and we love them so they'll have a good retirement home here.
