Welcome. Please make sure you predator proof your coop and run before getting more chickens. Hardware cloth is your best friend. Besides the sides of the run and covering the top for aerial predators, make a hardware cloth apron so that the fox cannot dig under to get to your chickens.

Thanks for the welcome! I went around and predator proofed with hardware cloth and large rocks months back (right after the predation incident) and just haven't had the time to raise chicks until recently, haha

Welcome to the coop! I use the Forums and Articles tabs at the top of the page to do research. You can get lost for hours. It's nice to know you are minutes away from getting help with questions and emergencies! I always check in the "What's New" section as well at the top of this page.
