New pet Turkey owner from NC

I’ve just become a pet Turkey owner. I bought the Tom, named Bosco for my father. He had him living with chickens and no real covered roosting area for him so he slept in the chicken coop. Since my father had him, all of the feathers on his breast have fallen out and he has several broken feathers on his wings and tail. I think he might have depluming mites. Any suggestions on caring for him? Will his feathers grow back? Thank you in advance.
