New to the Backyard Chickens

Hello all, My name is Karl.
My future wife and I have chickens and keep bees on our Half acre home Called Magoo Farmstead in Stoughton, Ma. We also try to grow some veggies, potatoes and other things.
We started out with 9 chickens but now we only have 6. One died from a respiratory issue and two from our friend the hawk (One just happened today if fact and have a question on this in a different thread) We are planning on getting more in the spring.
We are also bee keepers. We have been doing that for two years.
