I am a First Grade teacher and my students hatch chicks every year with the help of Farmer Pam. The rooster we raised a year ago is now the father of all of our eggs for this year. He is a year old yet all of his eggs seem unfertilized. At what age is a cuckoo maran rooster old enough to mate and fertilize eggs? Inquiring young minds want to know!

Adorable eggs! ❤ Thanks for sharing those. Most breeds are getting fertile at 6 months, although they start practicing long before. Let the rooster mate for a couple of weeks to insure fertility of the eggs.
