Newly hatched chick

Sorry to say, but chances of it absorbing that much now are slim.

I’d leave it in the incubator where the temperature is constant, unless you use a heat plate in your brooder that you can put it under. The chick needs to be immobilized, I would actually put it’s butt back in the shell-half, if possible, and prop it up in a small cup.

It is drying up now, just never seen a yolk so bloody
