Niacin question and metal question

First, I have been reading that ducks need niacin. What do you guys give to your ducks so that they have it? Do you give food that has it in it or some sort of supplement? Also how often and how much is enough?

Also, I am planning on making my duck/goose pen in a certain area. The problem is that I live on a ranch and there is old wire everywhere. I was cleaning out the area where I want to put the pen yesterday and I picked a lot of old rusty wire from the area to throw. I have read that ducks will eat metal and get poisoning. Is this true that they will try to eat this?
