This is Onyx again. I posted a series of pictures trying to sex Onyx and called her a new jersey giant. That’s what she was sold to me as at least. I was told she wasn’t a NJG. Anyway, if she’s not a New Jersey giant, what is she? She does have quite a bit of color around her neck and her black feathers have a greenish hue. I’m assuming the pulley verdict holds. Let me know what you think.

Onyx laid her 1st egg last week and I think the mystery's solved; Onyx is an Olive Egger. Beautiful green eggs, much appreciated after getting all those brown ones. I looked up black copper olive egger and the 1st picture that popped up looked exactly like her. No muff, no beard, who knew? Anyway, if anyone was interested, glad to be able to solve this little mystery.
