Usually a hen will regularly lay x amount of eggs per week. and physically take a break. The break between egg laying sessions some times occurs in the middle of a day... Egg in Morning Egg in Afternoon or evening. Its rare but it does happen.

I have never experienced this but have read about it in several places on the internet. I am a Fact checker. And have perused hundreds of sites on the subject. Even some College sites.

I suspect it happens with young hens who haven't Got into full production yet.

anyone can tell me I am blowing hot air.. dont care. Not a true expert.

Hello fellow NoDakins! In Bismarck here and am going to be getting some birds here on March 15th! Anyone know where I can get my hands on one or two Blue Sapphire's? Or something of the lavander varieties?
