help my broody hen's chicks are hatching and one of the chicks is very bloody is this normal. i hope it does not die. she only has 3 eggs and 2 have pipped and one has hatched.

ooo....it could of hatched a bit early, or mom might have tried to help, and accidentally pecked it. It could make it, one of my chicks hatched early, and is now 6weeks old. You might want to seperate it, and put in a brooder, so you can keep an eye on it.

i think the hens might of helped it. because it was only pipped 30m ago. i have an incubator right now should i put it in that?

Only put it in it if you are desprate if not try leaving it with the mum she will probably know best and let nature take its course just amby leave them alone for a bit and sww what goes on.
