My poor looking hen...she is not in a very good mood.

What is wrong if the hens' "butt" area is voided of feathers? My hen has a "bare butt", also another hen has a place where she has no feathers and it looks like the others have been pecking her on her back right in front of where her tail starts. I don't think this is molting, but I'd love to hear what others think might be going on. I don't have a rooster but I have one hen who seems to pick on the others sometimes. Thanks, Charline

Out of my 5 chickens only 1 of them molted! and she did it style, making it look like snow around the back yard, but she didnt look anywhere near as bad as the chooks on this thread LOL!

I've got one that has just lost her neck feathers. Looks like she's trying to fit in with the turken crowd in my coop now. She refuses to sit still for a picture.
