This was just taken minutes ago, after having to coax her out from hiding under the coop. It's been over a month since she's laid, but the past couple weeks she's really staying away from everyone!

I just took these pictures 30 min ago. This is the worst she has looked in almost 3 yrs. Not laying eggs for 2 weeks, lost her sister 2 weeks ago to a possum, she is not eating well and is walking backwards so I am sure there is alot of stress.


This is doodles and she is a Rhode Island Red going on 3 yrs old. I did order her a apron to wear to help her stay warm. I am entering Doodles in both (others too)

I wish I had known about this contest last year I had a white leghorn who had nothing but pin feathers all over it was scary looking at her it looked like a Halloween costume
