I have had my male for a year now, and I absolutely adore him, so I decided to get serious about keeping reptiles. I just recently got my female, she's just a baby now, but in two years she'll be fully grown and white not pink.
I plan on aquiring a few more females, maybe two more. My dream snake is a scaleless palmetto😊

When do you do the Hobby?
I do it everyday by caring for them😂
I'll also be doing once a year breeding which is when my hobby will really take off.
Are you an amateur? An adept? An expert?
Amateur for sure. These are my first two snakes
What is it that you love about this hobby?
I love that these incredibly vulnerable animals are so docile and personable. Many people think they're creepy or even scary, but I can tell you that's just not the case, they are capable of being a very sweet pet. I was actually scared of them for a while there tbh, but not anymore!
What sacrifices do you make to be able to practice your hobby?
Friendships I guess😂
Some of my relatives and friends won't come in the house because I have danger noodles🤦🏻‍♀️
Are you lucky enough that this hobby is part of your job/income?
Hopefully someday this will be a huge part of my income! Not really the breeding part, but I would love to educate people and maybe work for the department of fish and wildlife.

That's an interesting hobby. Do you collect enough honey to be able to sell some it?
