New incubator fixing to load the first rack of eggs

You will really enjoy the cabinet incubator. Does your GQF have shelves that turn the eggs? Is it digital or wet/dry?

My incubator is a much older system. Each shelf holds up to 102 eggs and rotates the shelves twice in a 24 hour period. I really like that feature in mine. I have the wet/dry thermometer system. Some shelves rotate and others are stationary for hatching.
I use my Hovabators for small sets.

In the pictures it looks like the black spot is smaller...that is good! Doesn't look big enough to challenge her system with surgery. Try soaking in Epsom salt water and then wrap her foot again.
this is actually both her feet. Larger one on right foot and smaller one on left foot. The larger one still looks the same.

The soaking should soften the spot and allow some to slough off.

My Silkie sisters are good at this. One is now caring for the babies as the other continues to sit.
