OMG Lice/Mites What do I do!!!

I would dust them with 5% sevin and their bedding and this will not kill the chicks or hurt the eggs for eating

sevin is a very safe dusting material for the whole chicken house
any questions email me

We mix de in their feed and also dust on the floor after cleaning the coops. I also mix a little in with their scratch treats each evening.
Personally would never use sevin dust anywhere near our property.

Thanks for all the info. I did use the seven because I didn't have anything else but I have some DE on the way and will be using that from now on.!!!

I have done several searches for Propolene Glycol and find several different grades *technical - solar etc* and grades *99%*. Which one should be used and where can a small amount be bought? I don't need a 55 gallon drum of it

Thanks

Best practices for us:
Clean coop once a week every week (depending on per bird sq ft space).
Dust floor/roosts/nest boxes moderately with de before any bedding is re applied.
Mix de with feed moderately at each filling
Adjust coop to mimic outside temps for appropriate season
Provide shade areas in the runs for heat of the day temps
Cleanings from the coops go in the compost bins
