Opening Incubator early question??

When it was cooler I had a great tip from another byc pal” @le_bwah ... “ taking the bator to the bathroom that has steamed/warmed up .. to open for early hatchers...
anyway.. now it is 100 deg outdoors.. wasn’t sure if the hot air or the humid air was more important when having to open the bator early to then let other eggs try and hatch??

I’ve never had issues with opening my incubator to remove early hatchers - speed is the name of the game, imo. Having a good quality bator (thus correcting for temp and humidity quickly) may well have helped.

I have because our air humidity hovers around 10%, so I do all my hatches in a bathroom with a humidifier running Just be careful cuz it can be easy to spike it too high.

(humidity definitely more important than heat in hatching stage, the bator shouldn't lose too much temp if you're quick and sparing about opening it)

... yea.. humidity very low here.. well shows 25%.. so that pretty much answers the question.. I do it super quick and bathroom ... I just get all panicked about the “seran wrap thing”... thanks for the info
