Was thinking, if it isn't pouring down rain that we might come up again as we have a few birds we would like to get rid of. Cockerels, a 3 year old female emu, several 6 month old male Indian Runner ducks, even a few adult geese.
Anyone interested?
Four cross bred bantam cockerels, free
* Parents in the breeding cage that produced these particular cross breed roosters and hens were all purebreds except where indicated and included: Hens: Mille Fleur, Frizzle Cochin, Sizzle (Frizzle & Silkie cross), Black tailed White Japanese, Cochin.
Roosters: Mille Fleur, Double Frizzle Cochin, Black tailed White Japanese
This guy is different from the other one, it has fluff on the back of its head.
One cross bred Polish cockerel, free. (his Mother was a purebred Buff Polish, his father is an unknown standard sized Rooster)
Abandoned rooster, no idea of breed or age, he was one of several that a tenant left behind, the tenants said they ate them, so I assume they were all young cockerels. Only have the one left.
6 month old Indian Runner ducks, (chocolate hatched as eggs from a farm in New York, Fawn & White from Privet Hatchery)
Emily, 3 year old pet Emu, she needs a mate and we don't have one for her. She came to us about the size of a football and was raised with the chickens the first 8 months until the baby chicks came along and she thought they were great toys to toss in the air. Now she lives in the field with the geese and goats but the chickens are out there everyday to visit. ** She is absolutely not for eating or making oil or lotions! We will want to know everything about where she goes to live! Asking $150 firm.
We have a Purebred Tufted Toulouse male (3 years old) and two Sebastopol or Toulouse/Sebastopol cross females (1 and 5 years old). All for sale birds are Grey with white or grey bellies. All the females have the curly Sebastopol feathering but none are show quality birds. (see photo) Single Female is $75. each. The male Tufted Toulouse (Tuffy) and one female will go as a pair for $100.
The white and spotted male in the lower left corner is an example of some of the birds produced by Tuffy Toulouse being crossed with the Sebastopol females.
* We do not eat our animals and do not wish to know if you plan to! Thank you.
Looks like I won't be going to this swap, but I''m still looking to get some chicken saddles! I need 3 standard and 1 bantam. If you would be willing to take payment through Paypal and ship them to me let me know!
I will have at least a dozen available but I need to speak with Dancing Hen first as she has priority and yeah we're getting hit really hard with quality and quantity due to the molt and weather changeWill anybody have some nice BCM hatching eggs for sale that are not already spoken for?
