Our first brooder

After a good afternoons work my son and I have gotten this far. Hopefully pick up a lil lumber from my Mamaw's store building to finish the top tommorow. It's 5' long 2' wide 18" deep inside 36" total height. My wife is only 4'11" so she's gotta be able to reach inside.

So far I've only spent money on the hardware cloth. About $11.00 so far most of the hardware I already have.

Thanks everyone!! Hope to get the paint on there tomorrow. Got 3 to 4 weeks before I pick up 18 Heritage RIR. Can hardly wait. Working on my big coop and run in between rain delays also. When the rain breaks ill get some pics of that process too.
