Our garden shed - recycled into a chicken coop

I have a question:
I noticed you have a water pump next to the coop. How did you do that? We have one by the house but it is tapped into the water line going into the house. The builder did it. I would love one by the coop! Thank you

That pump was already there. We purposely put the coop near the pump so we still had easy access to it for general purpose, but so we could also use it for the misters and refilling the chickens water, etc. So, unfortunately I don't really have an answer for you, but I do know that the pump was put there by running underground pipe (probably directly from our well that is a straight shot up toward the front yard). Then the underground piping also turns and runs into the barn where there is another pump and sink inside. We actually had to replace the pump because the old one leaked. That was quite a project all on its own!

Thank you for replying. Gosh I wish you said you just pound the pole in and up came water, LOL I can imagine how easy it is to fill the chixs waters.

Great conversion there! Loved the blog about it. Be sure to post pictures when you get it painted and when you add the paddocks!
