SpeckeledHen I can see all the hard work and love you have put in your place. Truly lovely. Having land is very hard work. This is our dream home, we have 25 acres but every year it gets harder and harder to keep up. I understand completely.
so let me describe my home sence I have no pics.
Back yard, cliff, trees, close line, lawn, porch, hedges, trees, and trees.
Front yard, porch, driveway, chicken coop, lawn, chicken run, dog house, dog lot, pond, trees, other lawn on other side of driveway, and trees.
Right side of house, cousin's house, lawn, flowering bushes, and trees.
Left side of house, chicken coop, chicken run, shed, trees, lawn, dog house, trees, trees, and trees.
YAY!!!
Our house looks like crap in real life and the grass never stops growing. Once we get it done its time to start again. But maybe one day I'll post a pic
Here is our diamond in the rough. We have been here for about 9 months now and still have lots to do. Our property in just over 21 acres and includes a cypress pond.
Wow, I have not spent enough time on my place to post .... we have STUFF sitting around where it shouldn't be, and wire over flowers (thanks to my chickens) looks a little hmmm say rustic.
Some pictures of our farm. Our farm has been in my husband's family since the early 1880's. Some of our grandkids are the 6th generation to grow up here....hopefully some of them will be able to make it their life and livelihood too. They tore the original house down
64 years ago and built the house my husband grew up in and that we've lived in for the last 30+ years.
We have a friend that has a powered parachute and he takes his camera up sometimes.....our place is in the lower left hand corner of the picture.
