Overly loud hen in the morning

HELP? Does any one know why a normal looking hen sqwockes really Loudly ate 6:59 in the morning?

Is it possible you have a rooster trying to crow? If not, I have had some hens that squawk loudly before they lay an egg.

I have had a number of hens that mad god offal sound when they lay. Not usually that early.
How old are your chickens?
Are they laying?

Yes, 2 of the four are laying........But we used to have 5 then we reallysed that one of them was a rooster, so we gave him away.....So no, we do not have a rooster.

How long ago did you get rid of the rooster?
Sometimes a less dominant rooster will not crow or act the part to avoid trouble. Once you eliminate the dominate rooster he will step up.

The pic of the chicken is my avatar.... 2 1/2 Months ago. And i Doubt it..Shes already laying eggs so that puts it out of the question.

Your avatar looks like a rooster. Compare the saddle and shoulder feathers to you hens and you will see the difference.

it does look like a rooster, how do you know it's laying, young roosters will often spend time in the nestboxes trying to show hens how nice they are.

Good point, the rooster I have as an avatar will sit in the nesting box at times and there is no question he is not a hen.
