It's two weeks until I set some eggs. Is Activate Oxine good to clean the bottom parts of the incubator to get an extra clean incubator? I want to clean a Styrofoam incubator and a plastic incubator an R-Com. My hatch rates have gone down a little over the years so I think it's time for a good clean. I know Activated Oxine is bad for eggs and birds. I plan in cleaning the upper parts with inactivated Oxine. I will clean the incubators outside and will protect my hands. I know activated Oxine can be dangerous if not used right.
Thanks, I've been hatching for at least 5 years. Oh, these incubators will be in nursing homes once they are in use, if that makes any difference.
