Does anyone know how many tsps or tbsp of this to put in a gallon of water?
The bag says 400mg per gallon of water...
But I'm still really confused on how much to give...my scale only reads ozs & 400mg equals 0.0141oz which is too light of an amount to register but it seems like every post suggests something different one even suggests 2.5tbsp but that weighs 0.89oz ....I wanted to start it tomorrow morning
400

400

Wow that's really confusing they way it's printed on the package ...
thanks Eggcessive I'll go with that I'm sure glad I didn't go with the math it would have never been enough

That page says no longer can be found. Bummer.
How do you actually give them the antibiotic? In a syringe? Mix the powder in water fill syringe give to chicken?
Dosage is 2 1/2 Tablespoons per gallon of water (mix it in water.) That is the 800mg dose which is recommended when treating chickens for ecoli bacterial infection and MG/MS.
