Has anyone purchased chicks from this site? How were they? How was the ratio of males to females? The free shipping is very tempting!

I know purely poultry is really good and they are pretty cheap you can choose if you want only day old hens or only Roos or only strait run but I don't know about that site sorry

I just ordered from there last week so we will see how it goes? I look everywhere for reviews and couldnt find anything so I was alittle nervous to order but I emailed them and they got back to me about everything I asked.

They have a lot of birds even emu for spring I think lots you have to pre order but some you can order now go to winter chicks or cold hardy I think there are some there

I would really love to get splash silkies from them, and it would be 15 chicks for the same price as 5 (non-splash) from MPC. But living in the city makes me nervous over how many roos I would get and how to find them homes (which has also kept me from hatching my own but I'm really starting to eye that new 24 egg incubator).

They're selling EEs as Ameraucanas (6 pullets for $120, um, no thanks) which is weird since they also sell Araucanas. You'd think a place that had Araucanas would know the difference between them...

Not to mention their starting from price for Araucanas is a bit steep, imo...
