Partridge Plymouth Rock Question

I havent gotten them yet. I will probably skip them this spring..... Dont want to chance a rooster. Im not good at gambling. LOL!
We will probably get some next spring.

I've never had an unordered rooster from them, even the freebie was a pullet. They're better at most for sexing.

Yeah.... it seems I'm batting a thousand for roosters...LOL
I seem to get them in each batch. Im not mad... the first ones I received were Barnevelder Roosters, and they are really nice boys. (yes, I ordered pullets). But in my last group, I had an easter egger roo.... although he kept his distance from us, he was a little rough with the hens. He's no longer with us.

I’d say female. Males have black breasts and red shoulders.

Okay sweet . Yeah she is quite dark even with the partridge pattern! So I was like

That’s what is throwing me off. Shes a Partridge Plymouth Rock from Hoovers and their pictures look like … pictured below . So I’m like ummm. I know all chickens look different especially hatchery quality… but like she’s almost black! With some of the partridge
