Pasty vent. Please help!!

One of My beautiful duclings has pastey vent.What should I do??

Try to soak the little bottom part in lukewarm water and loosen the poop clogging the vent - use a cotton swab or something soft and be gentle until you've got the poop off so she can freely poop - if needed you could use a tiny bit of vaseline or coconut/olive oil to soften it up and loosen the poop. You can search other threads here on BYC to see what others have done.

Thank you so much for responding.. I got the poop off but She still hasn't used to the restroom.And she's making little pushing sounds

I had to soak mine (chick) 3-4 times a day for about 10 minutes each for awhile. Also massage the abdomen. I could get her poo a tiny bit each time until it finally all came out. Took about a week. Good luck.
