Hi,
My Rhode Island Red has been pecked at by my other five chickens to the point that she has lost her bottom back and some side feathers. In her side, she also had an open soar and was not walking well. I separated her from the other chickens and sprayed on the purple antibacterial.
She is now walking fine, eating well and drinking water. Do I need to wait until she completely gets her feathers back before I allow her to get back with the other chickens? Otherwise, I think she will be pecked again. It has been five days since I separated her.
Thank you,
Roberto
