Pecking order injuries? Or more serious?

Hi there- I have a flock of 6- they’re about 8 weeks old. One has a little bare spot on its neck and another has a dot of blood where it’s beak meets its comb.

Just wondering if this is part of the normal pecking order wear-and-tear or if I should be investigating something more serious?

Thanks for always being there to save the day, BYC!

How much space do they have? Are they still in the brooder or have they been moved outside? The injuries don't look too bad, but you don't want it taking a turn for the worse.

They moved out to the coop about a week ago. But just noticed these injuries today. Any advice on keeping it minimal? Thank you!

Just make sure they have enough space, feed, water, the basics :) My 8 week old Old English game cockerel had a blood spot on the same exact spot that your EE has one. This age is usually when the pecking order takes place, so there is going to be a bit of fighting, nothing to worry about! :D

Do you have hardware cloth near them? They might be trying to peck through it and injuring thier beak. 2 of my 7 week old rocks just got the same thing.
