Pellet bedding

Im thinking of switching to pellet bedding for my quails. Any advice? I use regular pine shaving now. They have a coop/aviary. The quail are only three weeks so they spend most of their time in the coop. Every once in a while they hangout outside the coop. They are staying out longer but they’ve been pooping a lot in there and was wondering if pellets would be a easier clean up?

The pellets turn to wood powder fairly quickly, so I don't think it would be any easier to clean than wood shavings.
