1 agree...filth is much better....are you a supporter of bacterial infestations or viral???

I use to be groused out by stepping in chicken poop and now i just brush it out with my hand when it is in my egg boxes. plus i step in in sometimes on purpose

Just to make a point .....have you considered..why folk get NPIP.....have you had your flock impacted.....maybe you step a bit lighter

What a weird night with the chooks ....had to pull one girl inside for

tlc care.....1/2 made it back to the coop and the other half were hunkered down outside the coop....threw them in the pen and they ran for the coop.....all are locked in til this is over...nasty weather....

Jada Rose got her pain meds. She managed to take off her bandage and snow boot (plastic bag). I am not going to stress over it. It is easier to dry off her foot than it is to wrestle her to get the bag on.
Good thing she is easy to give pills to. Open her mouth, throw them in, stroke til she swallows, give a hug.

Thanks Wing! I'm exhausted from being in and out of that cold all day. I Know I've got chooks roosting on TOP of the coop....I should get out there and chuck them in the coop....
