Its only taken me a year to get a formal nesting box built/ attached to my second coop.....hope the girls like it!.....

Excellent! Now throw an egg or a golf ball there so they get the idea...

If anyone wants to make the scenic drive.
My local grocery store has chicken leg quarters on sale thru monday at .37 a pound.. basically a 40 pound case for 14.99. you have to get the whole case to get that price...
might be worth the drive for some of you

Hi All......Had a friend drop off about 50-100 empty egg cartons today at my house. I only have 3 hens...LOL...Not sure what he was thinking....but he was at a Mission Shelter in Bangor and apparently they gave them to him.....anyway....I live in Alburtis, which is near East Greenville, Macungie, Topton, Hereford (100 & 29), Bally areas.....If anyone close by would like them just let me know and maybe we can meet up somewhere in between...I sure can't use that many......

and I would hate to throw them out...
