Next time take a shotgun with you too!!!....as soon as the fox feels you are stalking them, they will get really hard to see...my two cents...

Is it like a splay leg? If so, you can use a bandaid or medical tape and make "shackles" for the first few days until it gains strength in that leg and it pulls under to where it should be. If it just won't put any weight on it, you could try giving it some selenium and vitamin E to try to help. Good luck with your baby. Maybe someone with a little more experience will chime in.
