Checked on the babies this morning and everything is good.
I went out later last night with my flashlight and saw a pair of eyes shining back at me (and in the direction of our coop) about 20 yards(ish) away. The eye shine was wide, round, small and yellow - I watched it run off and it bounded a bit, so I'm wondering if it was just a cat...
Is it like a splay leg? If so, you can use a bandaid or medical tape and make "shackles" for the first few days until it gains strength in that leg and it pulls under to where it should be. If it just won't put any weight on it, you could try giving it some selenium and vitamin E to try to help. Good luck with your baby. Maybe someone with a little more experience will chime in.
