Pheasant Feed Consumption

It is estimated that one pheasant will go through 12 pounds a month. Maybe a little more. that's 3,600 pounds a month.

Pheasants need approximatley 15-20 sq. feet per bird, thoguh bigger is better. I reccommend 25-30 feet per bird.

You have to check with your state fish and game for the requirments. Each state is different. The feed consumpsion that ticks gave you sounds close. That is a lot of feed for 1 month. Will it be worth it for you?I would hold 20 or so hens and 2 roosters back from each year for next years production.

I was looking into this because I had an offer to buy 300 at $7-9 each at 20 weeks. I think I would be able to make money, but not much being that I am not setup at this time.

I passed the order on to a friend of mine.

Thanks for all your imput
