How do you keep the water from getting frozen in the winter and are pheasants able to mate with peepers on?

I do put in warm water a couple times of day which will freeze up north here,they will peck and eat snow during the winter. As for impeyans they are not aggressive like ring necks or some goldens so i do not use blinders.

Mine are crazy they are about 3 months old i believe. They fight and peck each other all the time

My impeyans seemed to get along as juviniles,its when they get older is when they may so some aggression,ringnecks were the worst i ever raised for being aggressive when young,they would peck each other to death when young and worse when they got older

I have ringneck they keep me busy and i interested in the impeyas but cant find a good price on them.
