I think 335 and 336 are the same bird from different angles and definitely male. I also think 341 and 342 are the same bird, and the 341 picture has a little rust low, but I think it's a female.FOR SURE MALES:
0336
0335
I can't see 0342 too good but I think he might be a male too.
You are correct about them being the same bird. Any idea on color?I think 335 and 336 are the same bird from different angles and definitely male. I also think 341 and 342 are the same bird, and the 341 picture has a little rust low, but I think it's a female.
I'm only really familiar with the Pharoah/Wild color and I think the three darker brown birds are Pharoah including the male in picture 336. The lighter brown bird was identified by @Nabiki as Egyptian, but I can't figure out which pictures are of that bird in your second post. I'll have to defer to the others on the light colored birds. You are correct about them being the same bird. Any idea on color?
Thank you! New to this so learning as I goView attachment 3583578View attachment 3583579
These two are males. All the rest are females, from what i see in the pictures. coturnixes male have a ginger brown chest, while females have whitish gray chests.
Males will also, (more commonly) have gray beaks, while females have pronounced pink noses and white/gray beaks.
Another great sign is egg layers, and crowing
Egg layers are females,
and crowers are males.

If you check their vents, a female that has laid eggs will have a wider vent.Well, there is atleast one of age lady quail. Just got this egg.
