Me and dbf went to Bald Rock. Its only a few miles up the road from us. I took a ton of pictures but picked about 20 to upload.

I think this is a favorite with the twisted Cedar log.


I also love the little pools I guess you would call them.

Wow! I love Texas but we don't have anything here that is that pretty. (other than my kids and horses of course!) Thanks for sharing.

I'd wear out my camera photographing that place! Officials would find my dessicated remains with my finger still on the shutter release button.

Its funny because you can go there often and still see a different thing every time! I always bring food, TP, water and matches in case I fall and snap an ankle or something! I'm dieing to go watch the sunset there because it faces west but I dont think walking down at dusk sounds very safe, its not far to the trailhead, just rocky with big step ups and slippery where the water runs down the rocks in areas.
