Nice! It will be interesting to see if the chickens primarily use one side of it, or utilize the entire moat equally. I would love to know in a few weeks!!!

That is so clever. In the off season, you can let the chickens go through it and gobble up all the grub worms and such. Great job. In the future you could always use that to grow some grape vines and make a shady respite for the humans too. It never goes to waste!

Well so far they LOVE it. They do prefer the one side but I think that is because it still have vegetation lol. We have decided to plant 3 grape vines to help shade one corner of it. Should be great. I will post pictures when it is done.
