Pictures of Welsummer Eggs

Supposedly Barnevelders and Penedesencas lay dark eggs as well. Good luck finding them though, they are rare.

We have a little Wellsummer pullet. She's only a couple months old but she is beautifull. We also have two Cuckoo Marans hens and love the dark colored eggs. I have been trying to get my hands on some Penedesencas but can only find hatching eggs so far. From the pictures i've seen their eggs are so dark that they look black sometimes. Amazing...

A couple of mine are really sweet. A couple are layed back and one is really working her way up the hierarchy. The roosters were very sweet but I had to give them away.

Ha ha. well, I had them in my cart for My pet chicken because I'm going to be ordering from there soon, and then the welsummers completely disappeared from their site. I want some but I'm not going to get any right now since I dont want to order from any other hatcheries right now.
